Explorium’s cigar program was built to feel like an extension of the beer itself, not some random piece of merch tossed next to the register. Rawson Studio developed custom cigar packaging that paired directly with Explorium’s rich, heavy stouts and barrel-aged releases, creating an experience that felt darker, moodier, and more layered than a standard four-pack. The goal was to take the ritual of drinking a stout and push it further into something people could see, hold, collect, and talk about.
The packaging leaned into old-world grit, bold typography, rich illustration, and a smoky, tactile feel that matched the beers themselves. Every piece was designed to feel heavy in the hand and loaded with personality, turning a cigar and beer pairing into something that felt more like an event than a product. Instead of simply selling beer, Explorium was selling atmosphere, ritual, and a damn good excuse to stay out for one more round.
